Why the ACTUAL FUCK is it there? Nobody even uses it, cause it's so freaking bad.. who in the CDT decided it was a good thing? Didnt have anything else to do? Was it even considered in Comp or just for the pub players with 24 slot on it?

For the previous posts what i've read, everybody hates it, why implement it in a game, that's not even being used or hated?

Fix it, or just remove it.. just annoying to see it there, makes my guts wanna turn inside & out.. Peace out!

well they buffed it in 273. I think the main reason why it doesn't get used by competitive is because you need to research it after AA. I think if this would be unlocked on AA (like GL atm) alot more would use this weapon. Even though I think a pistol is an awesome lifeformkiller

The CDT implemented the Flamethrower? Man, time machines must be real.

Also considering the forum this is posted in you might want to complain about CompMod's balance of the FT.

Well I just use it yesterday on a pub server to burn bile bombs in order to protect arcs and a an exo. But it's not a common situation and it may be the 2nd time I do this flame protection in my whole ns2 experience.

In CompMod ... I don't think that would be a wise move. Even if it can replace the pistol, allowing SG + FT for example, I can't agree more with Mephilles about keeping the pistol to finish lifeforms.

tbh HMG + FT might work well together since the FT provides a good structure dmg. However this is an investment of 35pres and both need to be researched in AA. I think a jetpack + shotgun/HMG is far more effective for that cost

Decrease p-res cost to 5 res ez fix
After all it doesn't provide a major advantage, it's more like a tradeoff
