Buggy's lerk with less than 10 frags? Blasphemy!

I better check those demos again at some point.

Snake: I'd actually say that's a proof of sorts of the match actually being played at a high level. The higher the individual skill (and in form) and the tighter the teamwork is the less kills lerks and fades get. Alien team can feed kills to skulks and marine team can deny too aggressive lerk and fade play.

And buggeh was never known for getting tonnes of bite kills. He was known at least to us in the team as the lerk who was awesome at judging risk/reward and feeding the hive and fade skulks.

Also I'd rather not remember that nightcup game. Damned german tanks! One of my least favourite NS moments ever. Best NS-moment: when me and pizza fake nicked and 'joined' Arj's team for a week. He was so happy :<

Ok, I've only named games I played in, because those I cared to remember :P Also 3/5 matches haven't been mentioned before. Listed by date.

NL vs Germany (3-1), ?/mineshaft, Summer 2004, Nations Cup
Between the ktdm and the knife era was the summer of '04. With evilness, wzza and TravisDane from ktdm and that one team that was 90% VETS (circa? mm), and frg, n44bj and me from Intrepid. We were by FAR the underdogs in a group with team USA and the winner and runner up from last NC: Germany and Sweden. Germans chose mineshaft to try catch us off guard when we were 2-0 ahead, but we won our marine round, which made it 3-1 for us.

NL vs Sweden (4-0), veil/?, Summer 2004, Nations Cup
Evilness (vs germans): We really won't win this, but we'll try.
Evilness (vs Sweden): We really, Really won't win this. No chance.
We did. :)
Not a terribly close match, but given SWE's lineup and recent history it was still epic.

Knife vs BaconMen (3-1), origin/tanith, 2/10/2004, Clanbase Opencup Fall 2004 group match
After 3-1'ing Coldspell which kicked off this tournament, though it wasn't easy, the first really proper test was against BM. It's a very special match for me, because it was my 1st official for knife and on top of that it had the most ammount of specs I've ever had (120+). We expected to play BM in the season's final, which didn't eventually turn out to be that way. Pretty much everyone on either team was in a deadly good form, so it's 100% worth watching.

Knife vs Evolve or Die (4-2), tanith/veil/eclipse, 13/02/05 & 28/01/05, Clanbase Opencup Fall 2004 final
The final of the opencup ofc got plenty of attention. And I believe this is a game worth watching if you want to see top teams struggling with nerves and personal skill, with various moments of excellence. In the tiebreaker on eclipse weeks later we managed to show why we were the favourites again, by winning a solid 2-0 round. Sidenote: when I was lerk in Sat hive on tanith, a part of my front tooth fell off which frankly scared the shit out of me.

`.=. vs Saunamen (3-1), veil/metal, 8/03/2009, ENSL S12
Another underdogs vs favourites, where the underdogs managed to find another gear in their game. Too bad we couldn't repeat this in the season finals, which was a peach'ly dominated 4-0 for sauna.

Worst fails:
Team norway. Hahahaha..ha. Well, too much shit went wrong over the years.

First of all
Fana, Tane and gibbz are still the nibz

I agree with sherpa the match which ended 13-11 was a blast.

and i personally loved the games against knife when i started playing competetive ns, as in M and me with ns-reloaded nibz xD.. we even rocked a few rounds.. but that was mainly due to the freaking lerk back then.. haa the good old lerk..

best match I've ever played was against Peach's team. Peach was bragging to me all day "lol haven't lost marine rounds in ages". On that day Peach faced the OC tactic that we put up with jiriki on ns_eclipse. God damn I laughed so hard and threw more fuel to the flames when we won that game.

That's a bit out dated, but yeah. The HLAE demo fix now fixes all demos (99% at least), even HLTVs.

DU vs insane - The tanith round where DU were aliens and insane marines was a spectacle and a half. It was very close knit to start with and then enigmatic brings out his fade. The only one time he's ever faded well, yet his fading was the best I've ever seen. Literally... this is the definition of CARRY. The rest of the rounds were good for watching too, just not as memorable.

DU vs sprogga (NC) - I just remember glimpses of this game. This was one of the rare times sprogga had exceptional teamwork, and it just showed the potential we could have had if we got that teamwork consistent. We raped our alien rounds with out breaking a sweat in something like 3 minutes on eclipse. Marine wise I just remember green, enigmatic and myself being aimbots that day. Maybe not the best to watch but definatly was a highlight to play.

Good times
