Appearently there are a couple of mappers out there (inclusing myself) that lack a platform to test custom maps that are still in development on.
I have been thinking about reviving the NSL map tests that MV introduced a long time ago but before I even start to organise I would like to know. How many and who would be interested in testing custom maps for 6v6 competitive play and who is ready to provide constructive feedback to the mappers.
If you are interested feel free to post here. Once we have enough, so I think we can manage to get 12 players consistently, I will start to get something done.

i would be willing to help with my bad opinions.
if there is not something more important to play cast ref administrate in ns2 at the same time.
so assuming that was a yes by absurdon, mega and malware we have otentially 9 people so far... Well I'd like to have 16-18 (I know 12 would be enough but since people have a life I don't expect everyone to show up every time)

Assuming it is either wednesday or sunday 20.00 CET, whole ATV can attend.
This will be a great way for us to both help test new maps and play with many experienced people.
Numbers may vary per day but the idea is to try to get 6 at least.
Ill tell them we uhm.. volunteered, today :D
DCDarkling this is not intended as a training ground to get better, but to test map balance and exploits at the highest level we can provide. It is not decided when this will happen but I will put you on the list for it.
Also we greatly appreciate community members who have experience with mapping themself aswell.

I think when you can attend with atleast 6 people we can try to get it started?
unfortunately I'm too busy to actually organise for that. If anyone of you is interested I'll gladly give you a list of people who is interested and I could forward you to the people who prepared the servers already. Otherwise I read on the forums that SCC maptests might make a comeback aswell
After some discussion it was decided that this project will be made an NSL project where multiple admins will work on it. Hoping it will help the NSL to grow.
So look forward to any updates coming here.
