He said it was a NA player.
He has never been on a team with him.
He isn't a Div 1 player.
He is better than a div 3 player.
He played on a team last season.

The only team from NA that was division 2 was The Leftovers.
Obviously this doesn't point to a person, or it could all be lied about. I have no idea.

Gnarculepsy had no involvement with this. I'm trying to figure out who this guy is as well. Cheating is never acceptable. Whether on a pub/pug/scrim, cheating should always be a perm ban from NSL.

As a competitive NS2 player I value skill with strategy to a high degree. I believe having the game knowledge to pre-fire around corners is a skill acquired over time and with much experience. Having a wallhack tell you when to prefire and when not to is absolutely degrading to anyone who wants to improve their own abilities within this game.

To sum this up.

By not "betraying" a known cheat and friend who has in effect caused you to lose all reputation in a game in which you have put in many long hours you effectively betray everyone who ever associated with you. Anyone who has ever stood up for you or has even considered you as their friend will now always have this event causing people to ask "maybe he was *that* friend of Trademarks".

All you have done with this act is create a witch hunt whereby people will attempt to cross-reference every single thing you have said in some kind of Sherlock Holmes style game. Except in this game every suspect will be any 'friend' you have had in the community. If you think about it, that will also make them victims of your silence.

If nothing else you owe it to them.

Many of the people in the channel said they thought of me first as a suspect. I think that is really fucked up considering I have played hard and long since alpha helping to start the competitive community and have always passionately hated cheaters. I was very involved with Tempest and ns2bans.com in catching cheaters and got multiple people banned. This is how Trademark wants to repay and show respect to his teammates. The fact he isn't giving the names is a deep insult to anyone who has ever played on a team with him.

Zefram, don't make this a slap on the wrist issue in a small community with a game that is near death. Any cheating should be a permanent ban and it should be of the highest priority to weed out these fucks who think it's okay to cheat.

Anyone who has ever been cheated against knows how it feels and how annoying it is to play against a person who is cheating. I literally want to murder those people in real life I get so angry. It's such an immature and cowardly thing to do.
