Yep, as our ENSL agenda is free on Sun 16th and we have no free slot before, I'd ask Index to play on Sunday.
Is that ok for you ?

Also, we'd like to play at 7 pm instead of the default time.

For recall, we were available on last Sunday but MLG couldn't get 6 players, so for avoiding them to forfeit, we agreed to postpone the match.
No offence here, just reminding that it's also hard for us to get 6 players except on sundays (default match day). :)

We need a date set for this as soon as possible.

A date for this match is nothing less than what we ask.
As mentionned previously, we agreed to postpone the match to avoid our opponents to forfeit as they could not line-up six players on December 9.
This postpone was with prejudice for us, as this was the last match day when our alien comm could play.
He is moving out and he was only able to play our last match before Xmas break on Dec 9th.
We'll have to line up a less experienced player because of this postponing.

We then agreed to play the match on December 16, but Index told me they would rather wait for a new NS2 build.
The reason being the new NS2 build is not favorable to competitive play due to framerate issues of some sort.
We agree that the issue exists but is not severe enough to not play the match. (especially in Div 5 :D)

To be honest, I do not know what do do now. With the Christmas break coming, it will be difficult to find a date, and I understand the ENSL admins want this match done, but I feel we HaN! have done our due diligence, and canot be held responsible for the match not being played.
I hope we will find an acceptable solution asap :)
FYI, our next free date would be Sun 06/01/2013, if MLG is ok with that, we can schedule this match right away.

Index-, there is nothing to do about that, both teams need to confirm times in THESE match comments, BEFORE the matches.
Else we don't have a chance of arranging referees or casters for your games, and you don't have any proof of an agreed time.
You need to reschedule this, you have both week 5 and week 6 of the league to play the match. Look at the latest newspost if youre unsure when these times are.

Get to an agreement about a date and time, and have BOTH TEAMS POST IT HERE.

Hey Swalk, the problem was an unplanned match we didn't confirm and MLG Nation blames us for not showing up. As far as I know, nor the referees or any ENSL Admin was aware of this match neither. It seems communication is stuck with MLG Nation.

Anyway, as you said, we have to play this match on week 5 or 6 of ENSL, so I propose theses 2 match dates with default ENSL day/time :

Please, Index, let us know when we should play and confirm the match date on this page.

Please Index, I can't reach you on Steam so confirm at least 24h (48h would be even better) before the match so I can set a line-up and ENSL admins can schedule referees in good conditions.

I have to point out that all gamers are not geeky students who have nothing to do than spending their evenings running around on maps practicing wall-jumping waiting for their opponents to show up.

For some of us, having an entire evening reserved to gaming is rather hard. Work, girlfriend, kids, Fringe season 5 also exist and are time-consuming (especially the GF, but please don't tell her I said this).

My point is : it is EXTREMELY frustrating to delay such things for nothing because the other guys just won't show up.

I suspect it is exasperating for ENSL the admins to have to wait ages for a division 5 match to be played.

So, in conclusion a little understanding on the above situation would not go amiss, I'd rather not waste another evening.

As far as I'm concerned, the match was scheduled for yesterday. And it was confirmed by Index-.

However, they didn't show up. So for now this match is forfeited 4-0 for HaN!

This can still be replayed if your teams come to a new agreement on a time this week. But the semifinals starts this weekend (20th of january) and by then it will be too late to replay it.
