Division 3 Predictions
Hi,
Admirable, our new div3 predictor, sent his predictions and here they are:
Blitzkrieg vs. AntiLego
The newly formed .blitzkrieg have a promising line-up of new talent peppered with a some old hands, in the form of bp and saba, although it is unknown how active these two will be. There is still a worthy line-up without them, notably gobot’s fading and SaperioN in the chair, and I suspect they will be too much for their opposition.
The lack of decent commander is often the downfall of Division 3’s Marine Rounds, and this is apparent in the new Spanish offering AntL. From what I have seen of them in PCW they pose no real threat to the germanians as Marine. However, it is not all bad news; these guys have got the skills to compete with the Germans, if not the teamwork. Solo efforts from GrN`, yEnS and the boys may be enough to steal a round or two from the German War Machine.
Blitzkrieg 4 - 0 AntiLego
Veni Vidi Vici vs. Perfectly Dirty
With the recent departure of the German contingent from - v3 – things were looking shaky, but within a week they had signed up a slew of European talent. These guys are definite contenders for the title; the quality and level of activity generated by the new recruits, namely GoUrAnG, Born, Jacklyn (a.k.a. RazorRick) and mag, will no doubt shine through as the season progresses. Be warned, though I do see potholes in the road to victory, specifically, the lack of a dedicated commander and some questionable tactics I have seen in PCW.
Ever the diplomat, I will not write off P==D’s chances in this match or the division as a whole; Allez les blues! Consisting mainly of players from last season’s sOs, they have an active squad who play together everyday, and it shows. Their Alien Round is as effective as any other in Division 3, with Gorton_C fading and king_yo do the lerk dance. On Marine they are nifty in the field, but can often been found lacking in direction and strategy from the chair. I can’t see them taking any rounds for the TSA.
Veni Vidi Vici 3 - 1 Perfectly Dirty
LEGO vs. Quaxy
Hmmm, LEGO! A tribute to the nicest player in NS? A unsettling fascination with children’s toys? Or perhaps more likely an abbreviation of Spanish smut, all make me smile. “What’s all this bollocks about, you stupid Irishman?†I hear you cry, well I’m basically just filling space because I can’t say much about Spain’s over Division3 team. I fear that with only six players listed in the roster we may see a forfeit here. Although, NaVoDuRo and bKr are capable of holding up this house of cards as Alien, I don’t see Marine Rounds being too successful as is the fashion for Division 3.
The boys from Quaxy - return again this season to represent the mighty Finland in the lower divisions, albeit missing a few key players through inactivity. Although the line-up is weaker than that of last season, there still enough talent and co-ordination on offer here to win this one. The Alien Rounds will not be a problem for the likes of Kuitmo and Nova, but I am unsure of what will happen on Marine. I think they have been around long enough to take it on Tanith.
