Week 2 Predictions
Another week passes and Natural Selection is still not dead, everyone give themselves a little pat on the back.
Only kidding, it was actually all me.
Yes that’s right, these amazing predictions singlehandedly keep the European NS scene alive and kicking.

Admirable’s Division 1 Predictions
On a more serious note…
As with any great artist I am open to constructive criticism. So last week when an unnamed Finnish fan questioned why I always list three impact players for each team I decided to take his advice onboard. So this week I will only list players who I truly believe will have an impact.
de-stroyer vs nineLegends
Haven’t seen much life out of these two teams this week, so I guess I’ll just have to talk a lot of random bullshit. Here goes!
As expected de-stroyer were unwilling or unable to field a team in last week’s fixture against Flatline-Ns. Both parties are in agreement that the game will be replayed at a later date, but I cannot see the score line changing be it one week or six weeks from now. The core players have remained active with Cheesy, Cobi and SuB-Zer0 flashing up on my radar in pubs, mixes and gathers. I maintain that they will have some bite to their bark when they get an active Commander in a few weeks time; with a little effort the can take a round or two from the fast improving nineLegends. Whether I’m full of shit or not remains to be seen. Keep watching the skies!
Everyone was happy to see nineLegends get their season off to a winning start last week. Even I managed to find some solace in being defeated by the people’s champions. I have to say though I wasn’t very convinced by their victory. Call it sour grapes if you will, but I think CRAB BATTLE!!! handed the victory to them with a catalogue of errors. At no point in the four rounds was I genuinely impressed or wowed by this legendary line-up, except perhaps when my Lerk was almost eviscerated by n44bj’s knife! I’m not taking the win away from them, they were the better team by far, but I will be looking for more ‘oomph’ in future fixtures. Their lack of activity this week (apparently due to sherpa’s voracious libido and extreme lifestyle) will probably be irrelevant as de-stroyers are unlikely to field a team.

Adz’ Final Thought: If played this week, score line as above ;)
The Sproggalots vs LOLSTEAMROLL
This a rivalry that has produced some genuinely funny moments in recent weeks, depending on which side of story you subscribe to. Anything that fuels George’s emo posts gets the thumbs up from me!
The Sproggalots barely broke a sweat last week whilst dispatching Sweden’s Snowrollers, this week the onus falls on their Finnish neighbours to put them to the test. This really is a key game for both teams as whoever wins will most likely prove to be the main challenge to champions Flatline-Ns. If I were a betting man I think I’d have to fancy Sprogga quite strongly here. For every well publicised PCW victory for LOLSTEAMROLL there have been four or five games where they just get dominated. The Sproggalots are playing well at the moment although they can on occasion succumb to the Finns’ trash talk and mind games. Their Tanith SC tactic has got everyone scratching their heads as to just how it can be cracked, and with a roster that runs the gamut from the shock and awe of enigmatic’s shotgunning to Tweadle’s supernatural ninja abilities, I think they have all the bases covered.
Moi LOLSTEAMROLL, I thought I had lost you there back in Week 1. For anyone that blinked and missed it; just as the season was starting the sinister Fana tried to steal Commander and Chief, Peacham, from the LOLSTEAMROLL Corporation. Just in the nick of time Sir NesseN of Pwnalot rode in on his shiny steed and thwarted the nasty Norwiegian. To cut a long story short, its business as usual with Finland’s Finest (and zh). Your boy Tane is active again and his Marine game is heating up! I’m still not a big fan of his Fading, I’d prefer to see NsN or Vartija throwing their claws around, but what the fuck do I know. The roster is looking quite solid this season although I can foresee future inactivity from some members. Personally, I will be watching out for N@de who is fast biting on the heels of NsN and Tane for the number one spot.

The Sproggalots 4 - 0 LOLSTEAMROLL
Adz’ Final Thought: 4 – 0? That’s some sort of inside joke, right? Wrong!
Flatline-Ns vs CRAB BATTLE!!!
Maybe, just maybe, I was a little over-enthusiastic last week and what did it get me? A four fucking nil defeat! So I’ll play it down a little this week and we should roll ze Germans. Maybe not…
Despite their Week 1 game being a non-event I don’t need any persuading that Flatline-Ns are still numero uno in the ENSL and probably the World. The level of teamplay and discipline on display is impressive enough on its own, but back this up with some of the best players in the scene and a highly refined set of strategies and plays, and it’s not surprising that they only lost three rounds in the whole of ENSL9. That’s not to say that they are unbeatable, even the German War Machine has faltered against The Sproggalots’ Tanith SC tactic, although they did replicate and crush Sprogga with said tactic. I might be so bold as to suggest that there is a little fear creeping into the Flatline-Ns camp, with a recent ban imposed on PCW spectators… but that just crazy speculation… Psych! Psych! Psych!
Few people were surprised that that the Crabs lost to nineLegends last week, some our more intellectual detractors even went so far as to dub us CRAP BATTLE!!!. A sad day indeed, but we managed to pick ourselves up again and we are back for another week of topflight e-Sports action. However, I think our preparation has been a little lacking this week, and I guess that’s my fault, but if we take a small reality check here I think it’s pretty fair to say that even if we played twenty four hours a day for the whole week leading up to this fixture we would still lose. The teamwork and sometimes common sense that seems to be lacking within the roster tends to be acquired over seasons rather than days, but as always the mood is upbeat and there is fun to be had even in defeat. We may not have much of a chance here but if we can learn even one lesson from this game, then we should be on the right track. Nah, actually we’re just shit! ;)
