ENSL Screenshots Update and Server Announcement
This week's screenshots and rule update
Hey guys!
Reviewing the recent case of the screenshots. The admin team has decided to cut out the players suspensions this week as long as the screenshots are handed in by next ENSL official (i.e. this Sunday by default). This is due to the fact that we understand we gave you, the public, a late post and warning about these shots and we understand that some of these players may have not had the time to upload the screenshots.
The players that will be released of suspension on handing in screenshots are:
- Isamil
- Riddler
- Skipjack
Macpersil will retain his ban as he is still suspended for his annoyance to the admins. Remember guys, ENSL is a private league. The staff and admin team is comprised of people who give up their free time to run this league. Being a hassle will not get you on our good side. Technically Macpersil is banned for rules in Section 9.
Due to this inconvenience with Macpersil, we are adding a new rule with the rule stating: "Deliberate wasting of Admin or Referee time is unacceptable and will be punished". In the past we've had debates taking hours about some ice clear rule enforcements and then the participants blaming us for not telling them to stop earlier. This rule is to stop this kind of behaviour.
As much as we don't like collective punishment, that is, punishing clans for actions of its individual members, the only effective punishment is a game ban. Forum or website bans are of little value.
Screenshots and the future
As this is the first week of screenshot rule enforcement we have decided to let these players off, however, in the future this rule will be enforced strictly and there is now no possible reason for handing your screenshots in late if you have been asked. Screenshot an anti-cheat admin, Tweadle, will tell your team if you need to hand your screenshots in, during or just after your official game, giving you enough time. So it may not apply to everyone like this first week did. Kicking up a fuss in the future due to the screenshots may result in a longer suspension.
Clan leaders should always ask people to send the screenshots to the leader (by email for example) if the player in question is not going come back before following Wednesday 20cet. Uploading the shots is a five-minute job anyway.
Screenshots are serious stuff and is one of ENSL's hack prevention techniques. We hope you can comply with us to keep this league fair and fun.
Clanners' Public Server!
In other news, our dutch friend and sexyman, frG, has set up a new public server which is a great one for competetive players seeking a more skillfull public game. The details are:
Name: #nineLegends - Public
IP: 80.69.85.215:28000
Host: frG - zanith.nl
Match of this week will be "LOLSTEAMROLL vs Flatline.ns" and will hopefully be shoutcasted by the ENSL SC team featuring such epics as Mark "esJ" Edgecomb and George "GibbZ" Gibbons - with maybe even an irish man popping in!
Yours,
ENSL Staff

Even though he was annoying, and I know he can be :), I feel he had a point in his protest to the new screenshot regime, seeing as the public has not been asked for oppinion by a poll or such. Resistance should have been expected, the new rule is OK, and now you can enforce the rule, but not when it was not there and mp had a right to be annoyed, and therefor annoying.
