Extended premier division coverage
Before I begin laying down my plans to extend the coverage of the premier division some news: Both ascii.ns and FBH are dead, a solid start to our season to be sure. Insert.ns have been inserted into division 1. Did you see what I did there?
Anyway, extended coverage. I've been added to the prediction team to aid lump in covering the premiership. My first contribution was the prediction in the news article below for Lump's clan, a match he couldn't predict himself. We'll both now be covering the premiership so you'll have double the predicting fun.
As well as the predictions I'll also be doing a number of things to help get the community involved and interested in the league. I'm not capable of drafting new rules, however I'd like all premiership matches to have a HLTV present and for HLTV demos to be made. Hopefully myself or another member of the prediction/referee team will be able to do this, however public support on this matter would be appreciated. The demos will be hosted on ampednews.com and a public login will be setup so everyone can access them. The HLTV IP will be pasted in the key NS channels before the match starts so that people can watch. Clan leaders, I will need your help to make this possible. In the past coverage of the league has been lacking and all we get our results on the news page, I'd like to change this.
I'll also be writing match reports for premiership matches. This won't be an event by event log, but an overview of key events, moments to watch and hopefully thoughts from both teams on how the match went. I'll also ensure that correct players are listed as playing so we'll have a nice record of what matches you've featured in too.
Finally I'll be working on setting up a shoutcast for at least one match a week. If you're able to help me with this technically, or wish to be a shoutcaster then please pm me on IRC in #thewheatbearers, thanks. Thats all for now. Get scheduling.
