TAW Newcome Tournament Week 1 Schedule
In a live stream, Hefty & Tudy announced more details about this weekend's TAW Newcomer Tournament. They revealed the format, rules, maps to be played, team groupings, schedule, and much more.
Teams that are participating, please read the rules carefully. The tournament will be using much of the normal NSL Rules in addition to rules that are specific for this event. Please read both sets to have the smoothest possible experience. The addition rules emphasize promptness and readiness to play. Rounds may be loss for tardiness.
The standings for each group can be found at the bottom of the current contests page.
The schedule is as follows on Sunday, February 1st:

Also, as you can see, we could use a few more casters, especially, since Hefty is not able to cast the 19+21 CET-matches (sorry Zefram, after an hour stream at midnight, I didn't spot that one..., please make a quick edit).
If there are no further casters comming in, we need to redistribute the ones, which signed up a bit, otherwise Group A would be underrepresented in the streams.
So, if you want to help out by doing a cast, throw me a message!

@LyDDa: No, a reschedule is not intended. You can recruit some more players, though. There had been a few half-done teams, which did not find 8 people.

Just talked to Ixian and he voluntered for casting 3 matches:
17 CET: Angry Cats : RAWR
19 CET: NAllStars : RAWR
21 CET: TAWtaly New : No Frenchies
Edit: Write in: Ixian & Friends, as he brings cocasters, but not sure which ^^
Further we got DCDarkling from TAW to cast his fellows (no worries, there is an independent ref)
17 CET: PreAlpha : TAWtaly New.
That leaves two games open. Would be cool, if we can get each game casted.

Thanks to all the players, casters, referees and helpers for putting this together and keeping that amazingly tight schedule.
We had a blast in our casters office. Congrats to all the qualified teams for the semis.
