Season 10 begins!

Ready, Set, Go!

Season 10 is officially underway, with 15 teams divided into two divisions! Get playing! If you want to see your bracket, check under Contests at the top of the page!

Rules

Current official rules can be located here. These are more or less the same as any other seasonal event, so if you have played in the NSL prior, you probably know these. In addition, there are many new NSL members this season, so remember to be extra kind and respectful as you beat each other to death.

Deadline

The official deadline for all Season 10 matches is December 11 00:00 GMT. This is a hard deadline, and there are no excuses, so play all your matches prior to thate date. If there is some unavoidable issue, please be sure to message Tico or another admin prior to this date.

Prizes

Remember: Season 10 winners in either division will also receive an in-game badge! We still have yet to see it, but when we do, we will certainly make a post.

*UPDATE*

Due to Pubstars #2 not being able to form a team for the season, they have been removed from division 2B. Because of their removal from the season Pubstars will be moved from div 2A to 2B and substituting for all of Pubstars #2 matches. All of the matches created for Pubstars in div 2A have been removed. I apologize for the loss of matches in the bracket for 2A, luckily none of the matches for Pubstars in 2A have been scheduled so it shouldn't be much of an issue. Sorry for the inconvience for all the teams in 2A.

Especially this season. I did the best with what i could. IDK what more i could of done. I think the dual finals for div 2 really evens it out and will make for a pretty good div 2 season. Provided the matches are played.

Tico, the seedings look fine and the idea of two Div 2 is okay. Only because people are looking at other seedings options and trying to get info on why you think this is the best way to seed, doesn't mean they are complaining nor does it mean they are not happy.

tbf, the seasons seeding thread was never updated as new teams joined, it started with explanations of where 10 teams could have been placed, and with those listed, it made sense to have them like that... the seedings should have been updated as more teams emerged.

I suppose my only "complaint" is that the division 2 split means there is 1 or 2 "weak" teams in with much stronger teams (something that can't generally be avoided)... so they will experience a lot of stomps, where as if all the "weaker" teams were placed into the same division with the current finals format in place, it lets them play a more even group play... although how the finals would feel for them would like be different.

I also want to echo what home said, I'm not complaining (as such) with the setup we have, I'll happily play it, i'm just voicing concerns about how some people may feel.

Yea i think of adding them all together but if i did that i felt obligated to make everyone play each other which would take forever.
Regardless of all this the map rotations will most likely be changed for games later in the season and will be updated accordingly.

Can bowie please leave 1 of his 2 teams he is on to start the season? As I believe that is against the rules. This is the time to make a decision bauer, which team will it be. Make it quick.

(d) A player may only be actively rostered on one (1) team per season or contest, regardless of division.

Where in the rules does it say you cant be on 2,3,4,5 teams if you want to? The one that's important is under his primary chosed team :S

theres no god damn rule about it deck, kmacg is on like 9 teams for fucks sake. As long as he is actively only playing on one team, there is no issue. And ive already talked to him about. there is no issue here.

Rule:

He is and its EDGY ns2 Players. Not seize and decyst.
