Title says it. NS2 in its current state is really no fun in 6v6. In pubs it is still playable, but way worse than before too.

I would like to play the next season, but not vanilla NS2.

Is the problem that you do not want to rely on modders per se or that there are no modders avaiable / willing to keep a comp mod alive (completely understandable)?

And when I see the trello, vanilla NS2 will continue getting worse.

Do you magically understand the implication of the unannounced scope of changes on the game? Or did you not read that a season will not start until they're done with changes in the same article you read that they will use vanilla?

Can you tell me exactly where I wrote that the next season is about to start??? I know that they will wait. That does not change the fact that the last updates are shit and they will NOT revert it, also when you look at what the goal from PDT is you can clearly see that more shit updates are the route they want to go. They stated they want to use NS2 for experiments to attract casual players and make rookies have more fun.

Look at the last changelogs, look at trello. Look at the attitude from the devs. Do you really want to tell me that at the end of the gameplay and balance revamp there will be a better NS2?

Also it would be nice if you could tell me when exactly PDT can finish their NS2 revamp thing?

comp mod is dead. Lets not make comp dead.
I still think the comp branch would be viable to exclude all these public beta changes. (well they aint but it feels like it)

I'd be happy to play Vanilla in seasons... or classic (if it currently works)... but yeah, i'd be happy to take part in any season at all to be honest, i'm far from try hard, i'm in it for the fun.

Since you cannot win anything in NS2, I am sure EVERYONE played or has been playing for the fun. :)

Well unfortunatley home, we will be using vanilla balance. And if we were to wait until we could use comp mod, we'd never have another season.

And on the topic of next season, we have no idea if there will even be season 10, and if we do have another season it wont be for at least a few months.
