My sincerest congratulations to the admins of ENSL.

In my opinion, I think the summer cup was a resounding success bringing back some marine wins and interesting games across the board of all skill levels.

Thanks to swalk for making the cup and splitting groups up into skill levels so div 3 teams didnt get stomped by snails but instead had interesting games with teams of their own skill level. Also thanks for giving the competition more breathing time so reschedules could be made.

Thanks to blind for making the last minute changes by bringing in a mod to attempt to balance the game. You made it fun again and we saw many marine wins. I'm not sure what the win ratio was alien:marine in all the different groups, but it was so refreshing to not see so many 2-2s across the board.

Thanks to the other admins for just generally giving up time.

Thanks to the referees for giving up your time to help officiate games.

Congrats to the winners of the groups as well. Group A and C finals were really good to watch. I look forward to watching the others too.

Here's hoping the admins bring in some sort of balance for season 3 should b252 go awry.

I'm pleased that this went so well, blind deserves a lot of credit for putting is ass on the line with the new patch. It would have been way too easy to do nothing and just accept the game in its current state - but blind took a stance that opened himself up for a lot of criticism had it have gone wrong, but I think the games you saw here were as excited and as balanced as I think I've ever seen. I would be really interested on seeing any stats on marine/alien win if anyone has any? And perhaps publish some kind of 2-2s against other tournament 2-2s?

Congrats to the winners of each group, especially the Snails for topping group 1 - but also to Scurvy who beat us *cough* luckily *cough* in our final, they deserved it and were the better team on the day.

Final congrats should also be made to the streamers and swalks decision to let the games be moved over various days. This enabled us to have a bucket load of games casted.

Yeah, this mini mod really worked out nicely and saved this cup from being super boring alien only wins. Well played Blind for taking the risk and having it pay off!

Also I am amazed at how many games were covered by the refs/admins/casters. Really great job, Bladou and Ikard streamed 17 games just for the summer cup, pretty amazing!
