I don't know why the tournament admins haven't made this thread themselves, but here it is: Sign up for the new ESL tournament guys (and girls)!

There are currently only 12 teams signed up, but I know we can get a lot more teams than that if teams just get off their asses and sign up. The signup deadline is on the 6th of january, in three days, so chop-chop!

This website is REALLY unintuitive

I signed up my team same day thirsty did and for some reason they didn't put us in the Cup... I already posted it on the ESL NS2 Forums, hope they can make it, while groups ain't got the same amount of teams in... I also tried to find out who's the Admin of the league, but the only thing I found was: http://www.esl.eu/eu/nase2/6on6/sec_open_cup/admins/ ... Does anyone of you know ANY admin of this league or the way to contact them directly? The admin goes by the nick Noctis (steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198034353684/), but he's pretty swamped with work. Scrajm has been talking to him, and from what I understand the problem is that 1. he has to (or at least thinks he has to) get every little change he makes approved by his "boss", and 2. That he has no other admins to help him.

You should be able to get in though, they need someone to replace exertus.

We couldn't sign up because one of our players couldn't leave their old team on the site. No admins where in sight either. humbug-tournament. :>

And bobbi never having his NaSe2 steamid on the site so we never had the 6 required, also our own incompetence!
Missing out on games, very bad. Missing out on using the ESL site, very good \o/

Yeah it's not very well organized. No rules to be found, no idea what maps are being played, or how many rounds. No idea how to contact teams other than the match comments, no steamgroup or anything.

It's generally just very confusing and missing alot of vital information and communication from the admins.

Still leaves a lot of questions open, but I'm sure it will work out alright if everybody tries their best to no be dicks.

A few days ago someone contacted me asking on how the matches being refereed etc. Checked the game and server they are on. Some unknown private clan server. 12 players from 2 teams...

I was like: -ok, do you have referee assigned ?
-no...
-ok... let me check. Which div and group you are in?
-There are no groups and divs.
-????
-It's just brackets or smth
-???
-On esl website ...
-Wait, esl? I'm an admin for ENSL not ESL...
-oh... I thought it was ENSL/ESL tournament, blah blah...
