Hey everyone,
I hope i am not overstepping any boundaries here on ENSL, but I wanted to let you know, if you don't frequent UWE forums, that I am into running tournaments now. Just kidding but some teams here might be interested, there are prizes and shit: http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/130108/vindaloos-king-of-the-hill-tourney-with-prizes

If I lived in Europe, I would sign up for this in a heartbeat. +1 for Vindaloo organizing this and I look forward to watching some awesome KotH matches :)

I like the idea behind it .. the King of The Hill System is nice 8) !

I am just not quite sure how many matches ppl will really get to play .. i mean unless u are on top of the hill you barely play.

Not many, it's not really to take (E)NSLs place, but as a supplement and fun for the community. I don't have any means to pull off really big tourneys, but if there is a group that wants to do that, I am willing to be part of it and help in anyway I can. This is something to look forward to as spectator and direct way to raise some small cash for brave enough to engage.

No i see that this is not ment to replace this page and its scene.

I think this will at least a great chance to get at least one practice game for the topteam ;D

As i said i kind of like the idea. And i am sure ENSL still could use some help so if you are eager and actually carry your own weight i am sure they would love to have you!

Especially since you show with that event that you are not a lazy ass!

Greets !

I don't know if you know EisTeeAT, but I am already ref and caster here :) Does that count?

EDIT: And I am lazy as they get...

Because teams are having problems with tight time constrains and because we don't have enough teams signed up, here are some changes to the rules and organization (will edit the OP accordingly):
Possible play times widened - monday-thursday, evening/night euro times and based on mutual 3 way agreement rather than having defender choose.
Postponing the start of the tourney two weeks, new starting date would be week that starts on Monday 3rd of June (2013-06-3 week)
If more teams won't sign up, we can have showmatch between the teams already signed up with same prize pool with the same tip jars but maybe best of 7 or 9.

I think you need to let season finish, because there are lots of teams waiting to see what roster we will have after it.

Alright, we are almost there, put up a poll for you to vote on teams that will open the season 1 next week: http://koth.vindaloo.eu/
3 teams confirmed, couple more to confirm.
If your team wants to participate, you can jump in at any time, but will have less time to gather votes. (1 poll per week.)

I will be able to ref if you need any referees, looks like a fun idea.
